Artist Resume
Your resume summarizes your professional art activities and
past accomplishments. It represents you to the public and
often may be the first thing an art professional sees about
you. This can be a deciding element for inclusion in a commercial
gallery or your success or failure in getting a grant.

2. Address
3. Telephone Number
4. E-mail Address

to keep records of these sales through organizations.

11. References
Artists that you work with are great references (if you trust
them to speak professionally about you). Make sure you have
contacted your references prior to someone calling them so
they are prepared for the conversation.
Your resume is a flexible mass of information that you present
about yourself. If can be as conventional or as expressive
as you like. When you do stray too far from accepted formatting
though you do run the risk of looking unprofessional. It should
be clean, sharp, and as readable as possible. Update your
resume every six months or so to keep it current.
